KIS: Kids in Inclusive Schools
- Inclusion
- School development
- European cooperation
Partners from five countries share their experience so that inclusion doesn't depend on chance but is lived across the whole school.
What it is about
Inclusion works when the whole school is on board – leadership, staff and classes. KIS therefore looks at the school as a whole.
Schools from five countries share what works for them and bring good ideas into their own daily practice.
Primera's role
Primera promotes international exchange and the professional development of teachers in inclusive education. At its centre are practical approaches that help schools respond to different learning needs and enable all children to take part in everyday school life.
How we use it
In our training, we explore inclusive classroom practice. Educators adapt tasks to different learning needs and identify what prevents children from taking part. Working with colleagues and families, they remove these barriers and make lessons and school life more inclusive.
