Networks and Professional Learning Communities

Better teaching and learning happens together.

Artificial intelligence can now create teaching materials in seconds. Whether they truly help children learn only becomes clear in the classroom and the playroom.

That is why professional dialogue matters: educators test ideas together and ask what works, for whom and why. This is what our professional learning communities are for.

Communities That Respond to Real Needs

A community can start small, for example with eight kindergarten educators exploring together how robotics can work in their groups. It can also connect thousands of educators across Europe.

What matters is not the size, but that it starts from a shared question from practice.

Examples of Our Communities

Digital Education and AI

Pan-European Conference on Digital Education

When COVID forced teachers to move online almost overnight, we created opportunities for educators to share practical solutions for digital teaching.

Today, the emergency has passed, but the community continues.

Teachers have made the conference their own because exchanging experiences with colleagues across Europe remains valuable.

European Erasmus+ Kindergartens Community

We noticed that kindergartens were underrepresented in Erasmus+ and often lacked opportunities and confidence to start international cooperation.

We responded by creating an online community combining a Facebook group, webinars and Zoom meetings.

Today, many members run their own Erasmus+ projects, find job shadowing partners and help other kindergartens take their first steps into international cooperation.

When We See a Challenge, We Build a Community

  1. 1.We identify a real need in educational practice.
  2. 2.We connect educators who face the same question.
  3. 3.Together they learn, try out ideas and share experiences.
  4. 4.Over time, it grows into a self-sustaining community led by its members.
